The
CMIP Gateway
The Q3/CMIP protocol is the core management protocol for a number
of large Operators and telecom equipment vendors (e.g. BT, AT&T,
Siemens, Nortel, Alcatel, Tellabs). It is the core technology in
most high-end Telecom Management OSS's.
The Q3/CMIP protocol, an integral part of the Q3ADE Core, has been
interoperability tested against all major CMIP protocol stacks in
the world. It is managing equipment from e.g. Siemens, Tellabs,
Alcatel, Nortel, NEC, NTT, Stratus, Lucent and communicating with
TMN platforms like TeMIP, HP OpenView, Solstice, and Bull OpenMaster.
The Q3ADE 3G Platform therefore provides you with a very high level
of assurance that you will be able to manage any Q3/CMIP compliant
equipment in the world today and integrate into any TMN system.
Check our Interoperability List
for a list of 3'rd party systems, which have been successfully integrated
with Q3ADE.
The Q3/CMIP stack is complying to ITU Q.811 and Q.812, providing
CMIP management over RFC1006, TP4/CLNP and TP0/X.25 (specific 3'rd
party transport/network protocols may be required) and the Q3ADE
Core provides as standard functionality the ability receive, filter,
forward and store events in accordance with ITU X.733-X.735.
